Damage
#1
On to Damage:

Round 5: Fight!

This legendary was a tough one! The Trainer knew that he had to weaken it, and fast. But... How? He finally decided on an action. "CHARIZARD! This bird has been evading our every attack! I believe it is time for... OVERHEAT!"

Charizard Lv:45 Male HP: 34%
Articuno Lv:50 Female HP: 100%

Round 6: Fight!

The Articuno was caught in the blast, and received heavy damage. "ART!" it screamed out, as it collapsed in pain. It then, in a weak attempt, used Water Pulse. The searing pain caused it to miss, and harmlessly be absorbed into the ground.

Charizard Lv:45 Male HP: 34%
Articuno Lv:50 Female HP: 67%

Now... How was this calculated? Well, in Enasu, the Damage is calculated the same way as in the Battle Fields. For reference, I included it at the end of this guide. But, we take a few other things into account here, so, it will be slightly... modified...

1.) First off, we remove the last number off of the power, and round up if it is a 5, as in the Battle Fields. So, in the case of Overheat, which has 140 power, we are left with 14.

2.) Next is type alignments. As you can tell, this is in a slightly different position than the battle fields. Anyways, under the following conditions, do this to the damage:
-If the target has two types, and both are weak to the attack, quadruple the damage. So, Overheat would do 56 damage.
-If the target has one type that is weak to the attack, then double the damage. So, Overheat would do 28 damage.
-If the target's types are neutral to the attack, or if one type is weak and the other is resistant, then do not do anything. So, Overheat would do 14 damage.
-If the target has one type that is resistant to the attack, then halve the damage, rounded down. So, Overheat would do 7 damage.
-If the target has two types, and both are resistant to the attack, quarter the damage, rounded down. So, Overheat would do 3 damage.
-If the target has one or more types that are immune to the attack, then reduce the damage to 0. So, Overheat would do 0 damage.

3.) Now we take Stage into consideration:
If the Pokemon is in a 3 Stage line:
-Take away one point of damage if it is a Basic Stage
-Do nothing if it is a stage one
-Add one point of damage if it is a Stage Two
If the Pokemon is in a 2 Stage line:
-Do nothing if it is a Basic Stage
-Add one point of damage if it is a Stage Two
If the Pokemon does not evolve or have any pre-evolutions, then add one point of Damage.
So, this means that Charizard would do 29 damage to Articuno.

4.) Next is STAB. In this case, if the Pokemon has at least ONE type that matches with the attacks type, then take the number in the one's spot, and double it. So, this means that Charizard would do 38 Damage to Articuno. If neither of the Pokemon's types match, then reduce the total damage by 1 point times the stage. So, if a Mew used this attack, then it would only do 28 damage.

5) Last, but not least, is level. For every level your Pokemon is above your opponents level, you do an extra point of damage. For every level your Pokemon is below your opponents level, you do one less point of damage. In this case, Charizard's would now do 33 damage.

So, that is damage in a nutshell!

Oh, so it's a modified formula? I thought you were going to use the formula in the game.
